Hi all.

I had posted several months back about a leak near my injection pump. Upon closer inspection, it turns out that the little wheel for the jet start had been broken off once upon a time, and it looked like the leak was in that area. Since I needed a new one anyway, I figured that would help solve my leak.

Well, I got a new one from Kubota and put it in, but I am still getting a dribbling leak when the machine is running. It starts and runs fine, just keeps dripping a little bit of diesel and is making a mess of things. Im afraid to keep cranking down on it anymore, but also didnt try to use any sort of sealant on the threads. Is there something I should be using here as a sealer? I was afraid to put any sort of anything near the fuel system....

It's brass don't over tighten it.
If it's leaking on the stem of the valve, tighten the nut on the valve slightly.

You can get this it at HD

It's hard to tell, but appears to be leaking where it threads into what looks like a larger nut on the injection pump. I have a can of rectorseal #5 that I can use, but was concerned about using any kind of sealant on the system.

Ill have to see if I can get it back out and goop it up a little to stop the drip. I will say the little wheel turns quite easily, so maybe that needs a bit of snugging up first to see if it helps.

Thanks!
