My front end loader will move up and down with ease but it won’t tilt up without throttling up and then it’s real slow. When I do get the bucket to roll up and release the lever it will drop back down fast. I checked the fluid and changed the filter. It’s a 07 L2800. Thanks Nick

A bit more history would help.

Is this a recent issue? Have you removed any hoses from the loader valve and then reconnected?

It sounds like a hose on the loader valve is in the wrong place.

Does the 3 pt hitch lift properly?

How many hoses connect to the loader valve?

Dave

This is a recent issue. I have never removed any hoses and the 3 point lifts fine with the shredder on. There are 4 hoses connect to the loader valve. The loader will raise and lower and will lift the front of the tractor off of the ground. Thanks

Sounds like you have blow a internal cylinder seal.

Swap the lift lines for the curl lines and see if you have the same issue with it.

If you do you'll need to pull the curl cylinders (yes both as you won't know easily which one is bad) and rebuild them both.

Thanks Wolfman, I swapped them and it looks like your correct. Time to spend some money.

Swap the lift lines for the curl lines
Great info. I'll swap lines and see if my FEL will drop faster -- it's slowed down to a crawl the last six months --- even with a few hundred pounds of weight in the bucket. Seems like the easiest thing to do to isolate between cylinders-controller <and> pump/screens etc. Anyone know if a B7100 has check valves in the line or is that common on these? Working great are the PTO, HST, FEL lift & rotate, 3 point.

Is it also possible one port / orifice of the control is partially clogged on the drain-return side? I suppose if the bucket is slow and stays slow after swapping lines it's the cylinder. If it follows the hose then it must be the controller?

What do you all think?
