I don't recall which engine the L235 tractor uses, but was wondering if the block itself is interchangeable with an L275. Is the bore different, or just the stroke? I have found a used L235 block and misc parts for a good price and was hoping it was usable, but am sorta doubtful.

Ok, I found the spec sheet and answered my own question.
I may soon have a L275 block, rods & pistons for sale, no head. One rod bearing wore and caused the engine to knock, but apparently no other damage occurred. Do you guys think there is much demand for these parts and what sort of street price would be reasonable to expect for them? I would be selling them separately.

this post sounds exactly like the engine i sold on ebay a few weeks ago. i ended up selling it to a guy in Missouri for a really cheap price. are you the guy i talked to on the phone a few times from up north?
