Newb here, I just want to thank ya'll for any suggestions. I'm replacing the dual clutch in my neighbors L2650. Splitting a tractor is first for me so I was excited to jump in and get to work. It's all going smoothly until I ran into what I believe is a leaking rear crank seal, if you look at the picture below. There is oil seeping from the bearing in the middle of the crankcase. Is there a passage where oil can get through the crank seal and behind that bearing? Picture was taken right after removing the flywheel, so the bell housing hasn't been wiped down or cleaned. Would I be okay just replacing the crank seal or is there something beyond that I need to take a look at?
My neighbor did say at one point they over filled the hydraulic fluid on accident. I have read somewhere that the hydraulic fluid can make it's way back to the clutch housing via the breather. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank You, Jeff
