Hey all, I picked up a lightly used L2650DT that had been sitting for a couple years and the bell housing filled with water and completely rusted the clutch out. I purchased a new aftermarket clutch for it and like an idiot sent the old clutch back for the core charge before installing the new one. Anyway the new clutch is slightly different in appearance than the OEM one but the dimensions seemed to be the same so assuming it came calibrated I installed the clutch pack and put the tractor back together. Before fully reassembling I went to test the function and noticed that fingers where way too short, the finger bolts would barely contact the throwout bearing when the pedal was all the way down and it was not enough to disengage the drive clutch yet alone the PTO. I took the clutch out again and checked the settings against the factory specs and it seems to be way out of whack so much so that there really isn't enough travel in the adjustment screws to bring it into spec on both the fingers and the second pressure plate. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem with a similar aftermarket clutch or if I'm missing something. On the clutch description it did say it would fit some ford models too, so did I get a clutch set to Ford specs that won't work in a kubota?

Most likely you have gotten the wrong clutch, or you have something installed wrong.
Where did you get it and what was the P/N ?

For installations like this, pictures of everything your working with, will help us, to help you.

The clutch setup you should be looking for is:
Clutch Pack P/N 32425-14200
