Hello guys, I just acquired a new to me L240 kubota. The starter windings are shot and even with a brand new battery, connections switches etc etc the starter doesn't have enough umph to roll the tractor over fast enough for it to fire. It uses the standard starter solenoid but i can't for the life of me figure out what starter it actually uses, other than the kubota part number that my dealer kindly informed me is no longer available. Is ther anything that will cross refrence with this tractor so I can get it running? Thanks for any help!

Take it off and to your local starter rebuilder. They shouldn't have any problem with it and be MUCH less expensive then new.

Second taking it to a local rebuilder.

What starter do you need???
L260 or L240, the title line and your body text does not match up?

I have had good success with a rebuilder
I use locally.
The z750 engine is a hard engine to
Find a starter for. I just did a quick search
And hard to find something that would work.
