Hey sorry for the stupid question, but I am trying to figure out how to check the fluid level in the transmission. some friends have a viewing port, while others have a dipstick. Mine has neither. I checked the fill port in the back but cant determine what level it needs to be. I also checked the opening in the transmission tunnel, but no dipstick. There is however on the underside of the lid is like a pvc piece of tubing that is about an inch long. Thought maybe that was the dipstick.
Thanks for your help

Maybe? your viewing port has dirt covering it. I went outside last night and took
some pictures if it helps. I can scan the page on transmission fluid from my
operator's manual. This is where the viewing port is on my l2550.

You my friend, ARE AWESOME!!! You were exactly correct. That is NOT where I was looking, but it was covered with dirt. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
Respectfully
