I have just completed the 50 hour maintenance on my L-2501. I have a question regarding grease fittings. The manual shows a grease fitting for the left and right tie rod ends and grease fittings for the brake and clutch pedal pivots. I found another grease fitting behind the front axle shown in a picture below. This fitting will not take any grease. Can someone tell men the purpose of this fitting and if there are any other grease fittings (not including the FEL). Thank You.

Should be two on the front axle pivot point. One (usually on the front) you will have to remove a square plug on the other side of the fitting, when filling old grease will come out where the plug is. The other fitting you will not be able to see the grease as it is going into the prop shaft housing.
All that saying if it will take grease, if not remove the zerk and clean/replace.

Thanks Jason. I just went outside to take another look. 4 each grease fittings on the tie rods. 3 each fittings on the pedal pivots. The fitting front of the axle pivot takes grease the rear one does not. Tomorrow I will remove the plug and try again.

I just wan't to follow up on my grease fitting issue. I removed the grease fitting on the rear front axle pivot point. The grease fitting would flow grease. I also took a small pick and poked around for debris that might have been behind the fitting. It was free of any debris or crud. I reinstalled the fitting and I still couldn't pump any grease into it. I took my floor jack and jacked up one side of the axle so that the axle was in a pivoted position. I was then able to get some grease through the fitting although it required a lot of pressure. I removed the jack so the axle was parallel to the floor again. I was able to pump some more grease in but it still requires a great amount of pressure. Don't know if this is concerning but I will contact my dealer and get there thoughts.
