Hello everyone, I attempted to find a similar forum post with no luck.
My L2500 3 point hitch has gradually stopped lifting. Gradually, if it can be called that, was within one afternoon. It is pumping fluid. At first when I moved the level it sounded awful. The hydraulic screech. I added some oil but the eye glass is no longer transparent so I’m unsure about the oil level. There are no leaks on this tractor and it is maintained. The screeching stopped over time and I have some lift but it’s slow. When I first start it up, it takes more than a minute to get the lift moving.
Can y’all give me some insight on what to check before taking it to the shop? I cannot fine any schismatics showing filter screen location, flow, hoses/piping, etc. I just don’t want it to cost me a couple hundred bucks for something I could fix myself
TYIA
