Please more fully describe events and what then happened regarding no-start condition.

A really hard jolt may have buggered a safety switch out of position or any of a number of other possibilities.

In any case please post back your experiences that we may all learn.

I have a L2500 Tractor. I was bush hogging around the house and hit a stump. Before I could engage the clutch, the tractor died. I can't get it restarted. What am I missing?
Did you turn pto control lever to the OFF position? Have you checked battery voltage and batt. cable continuity?

Nothing happens when trying to restart, and I mean nothing. The PTO lever is in the off position. The battery and cables are good. Aside from a safety switch being stuck, that I can't locate, I don't know what else it could be.
