I bought my Kubota A few weeks ago. So far i have changed all the oils and filters. I have tubes for the rear turfs on order along with decals and lug nuts front lugs o-rings for the dipstick . I bumped out a few dings here and there and have kubota orange and some primer ,i still need to get the blue. I have done quite a few small repairs, replaced tach cable , made a cable for the decompression system.
When i got it home from picking it up i began work on it . The biggest headache i have had is the rims and tires. The rears are 13.6-16 turfs. They were full of chloride which leaked out of the tubes and rusted the rims quite good. After taking the tires off the rims i prceeded to weld some thin spots especially around the valve stem area. I ground and sanded and primed them. As i said earlier i am waiting on tubes. They should be here tuesday. My front tires are p195-75r-14. The rims have been welded in order to accomodate the tires that are on it is what i guess. I'm not sure of the homemade rims as to why except to say that i know rims and tires are a bear to come by. I'm presently working on getting the right front/rear ratio so i can use 4-wheel without having to worry. So far i haven't used it and have only ran the tractor an hour at the most. My plans are to put on a fel and get whatever attatchments i can get. I am new here and just wanted to give a heads up as to what this member is doing.

I recently purchased an L245 also, where did you find the decal set?
If you have a link, that would be helpful.
The decals are still available from your dealer. Each has a part number and can be ordered individually. Get a Parts Manual and identify which decals you want and then order by part number. Try www.tractorsmart.com to download a parts manual and then order the decals.
