according to my manual-trans SAE 80.being that this is also the hyd.sump.never heard of running 80 weight in a hydraulic system.i have the kubota operator and workshop manuals.nothing in the hydraulic section on fluid.going over a tractor that sat for years,checked all levels and condition,got it running and moving.while im at it if you are reading this you probably own a L245DL best place for tires and wheels.

You can use Kubota UDT or other universal tractor fluid in it.
Be sure to take the plugs out on the rear axle housing . There may be two per side.

UDT is the replacement for the SAE 80
I use Mystik JT-5, it works excellent.

I used Tractor Supply Co's Traveller Premium tractor hydraulic and transmission fluid. It works fine.
