Hey guys. I have a 1986 L2250. The throttle lever won't stay in position, the rpm slowly falls. Need for the rpm to stay constant when using an attachment like a shredder etc. connected to the power take off. Anyone know of an adjustment that will make it stay put ? Pictures would be great too. Thanks Mike

Follow the throttle lever down below the dash. You will usually find a pair of jam juts. Loosen the jam nut and tighten the other against the washers a little at a time until the lever stays put, then jam the other nut against it.

What lugbolt said in pictures: :D
Use two wrenches one on nut #70 and one on nut #60, loosen 70 from 60, snug down 60 till lever feels good then retighten 70 down to 60. ;)
