I recently acquired a Kubota L225 and am looking for a loader setup for it. I can’t find a used LB702 but I think an LA852 will fit it. Dora’s anyone know if the LA852 is a direct replacement for the LB702 or if any other model loaders would work?

Ok I think someone's real confused!
The 2 loader numbers you list are WAYYYYY to big for an L225.
The L255 never had a factory loader so it would require some fabrication.

The LB702 is for a MX5000
and a LA852 is a L4610
and a LA852-2 is for a L4610 or a MX5000.

Thanks so much. That helps a lot.
Glad to help! There is considerable discussion on the L1200 loader here on the forum if you do a search.

North Idaho Wolfman really knows these older Kubota tractors and mentions no factory loader for your L255. I would surmise, (yep I get in trouble doing that) that the L1200 loader was made by a second party and had some business relationship with Kubota or Kubota dealers to supply this loader for installation on the L255 and related models.

Nothing is impossible but finding a decent shape L1200 loader PLUS the control valve and all related plumbing and hardware is going to be a uphill battle for you .

Good luck and happy tractoring!
