Plowing our drive way today the right brake seems to be sticking it makes noise then breaks free.
I jacked the rear up and in neutral I can't spin the tire by hand.
Are the brakes inside the rear reduction gear box. Are they riding in gear lube?
thanks in advance
Best Wishes for the New Year

Yes they are internal wet brakes and a disk style (not drum).

They are before the reduction unit.
Check the linkage.
It's very uncommon for wet brakes to "stick".

This is a very common problem with these older machines. The brake actuator shaft that goes to the housing has an o-ring on it about a quarter inch in. The area outside of that a ring gets Rusty and the brakes start hanging up. Spray PB blaster behind the leather that is attached to the rod that goes through the housing. Work the brakes when you do this. It may take a week but the PB blaster will soak in and generally free them up. Good luck
