Hy guys,

New to the forum and new to tractors! I see so much cool info on this forum. I***8217;am happy that I found this forum!

Since a few days we got an kubota L1802DT here on the estate that I take care of. It comes straight from Japan with an origional front loader.
It runs ok but I am working on changing all the filters and fluids.

- Motor oil, check! That Whats easy :)
- Air filter, check! Easy as well... :)
- Hydraulic oil and filters... need info, asking for info in this thread...!
- Transmission, front and rear axle oil... I need info (for another thread, take things slowely so first the hydraulics)

Like I said I am new to tractors and this L1802dt did not came with an maintenance manual. I want to clean all the hydraulic filters on my l1802dt but I got no cleu where to start. Where are the filters located? Does it only have one hydraulic filter? Where is the hydraulic oil reservoir located? Can anybody help me out with the basics on the L1802DT?

Hope to learn from you guys,

Grtz Jurgen (Holland)

Hi guys,

I am new in this forum and from France.

It is an old post but I am also interested in doing the maintenance of the hydraulics of my L1802DT. I'm a bit lost.

Some guys said me changing the hydraulic filter would not be useful if I don't clean the strainer at the same time. But I'm unable to find it. Someone knows where it is located?

Thanks for your help

I am not familier with the L1802DT (US L235), but here is the hydraulic piping breakdown.
Also a link to some manuals.

Thank you so much!

The strainer/screen does not appear on this drawing... Strange... I thought there always was a strainer/screen.

It's the mechanism mounted to the top 0f the pump. At some point Kubota abandoned the tank strainer in the rear housing

Some models had the screen on the left side:
Look on the left side right in front of the axle for a cover with 2 bolts.

Thank you guys for all your replies. I checked on the WSM for L235 which seems to be very similar to my L1802Dt and there is no screen for this model. Only a filter. I just ordered one as well as the Kubota Super UDT oil and I will do the maintenance in the few days.
Thank you very much to all of you! And by the way, nice forum!
