Hello everybody,

sorry, i hope you understand. My english is not good.

I have buy an Kubota L1801 two years ago. Since this forum has give me a lot of tips and help. Thanks for it!
But now, i have a problem. My new hayfield is 4 miles distant. And so i must drive on public streets. In Germany i must have a number plate for using this tractor on the streets.
In Germany this Kubota is also a grey market and i have no papers or documents for it. Kubota Germany take distance from all grey market Kubotas. So i dont become any help from Kubota Germany. And the grey market Kubotas are not popular in Germany. But whitout papers or documents it is not possible to become number plates.
Alternativ i need a license from a other country. Which country is equal.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks!

Not sure what to tell you there my friend. Here State Side across the pond in the U.S we do not need license plates or tags on tractors to hit the roads with. We just need a slow moving emblem which is an orange trangle.

Maybe Cabu can help you out. He lives in your neck of the woods in Germany.

Hello I've got the same problem in France & in our country, we can homologate old (oldier than 30 yo) vehicles without certificate but you have to prove your car / bike / tractor is an old vehicle....

The big problem is here ! How to prove your tractor is up to 30 yo without official documentation ?!

I tried to write a letter to KUBOTA JAPAN (OSAKA) but I didn't had response.... (-_-)

I wrote a nice letter with a correct "japan closing formula" but it didn't worked.....

If you want to write a letter too, I can give you the postal address in Osaka but I can't promise it will works.

Sorry.

YES YES YES it worked !!!! :D

I finally had my licence or "certificate of registration" !!

Cool, I'm happy.

In France, we can obtain it thanks to "F.F.V.E." (French Federation of Older Vehicles) ; maybe you have the same in Germany?....

Good luck. ;)
