Having problems with my L1500 not getting enough fuel.
I've tried changing fuel filter and bleeding off jets, still no tomato.
It sounds like it trying to start but doesn't:rolleyes:
Could it be the fuel pump?
Any advise from anyone would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Roger

Hey there Roger, welcome to the site! Thank you for posting.

When you backed the nuts off to bleed the lines, did you see any fuel spurting out while cranking it over? Did you remember to loosen and bleed all of the lines?

No and yes.
Did not notice any fuel coming out and yes to "loosen and bleed all of the lines."
Could it be the pump?

Hey Vic, Thanks for the reply and the info. Whoever said "patience is a virtue" never worked on my L1500. I ended up replacing the battery of all things. Seems there was a cell weak enough not to give me enough "fire" to keep it turning over as needed. I replaced that and after another 5 mins. or so, she finally crank and has been since.:D
Now I'm attempting to give her a paint job, following your helpful info with the rattle can.
Hey Thanks Again,
Roger
P.S. Sorry it took so long to reply. But work 12 hr. shifts.
