First, I'm not positive, but I believe I have a gray market Kubota. Unsure of the year and all. I'll post a pic just to show y'all what I have... anyways, to the issue at hand. I was tilling some land and the PTO starting making a noise. It progressively got worse. I stopped before it got too bad. I know without a doubt it's the PTO. When I engage the clutch, it runs just fine, turn loose of the clutch and the PTO starts spinning the noise comes with it. I've also noticed now, it's like it's either staying in gear, and or clutch going out? Example, immediately after having the PTO engaged, you can put the PTO in neutral, and just run the tractor and it'll still make this horrible noise for a while. During that time it's impossible to take the tractor out of gear, even with the clutch engaged like it should be. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I'm worried sick because the tractor is jam up and in great shape, and I've heard these models are almost impossible to get parts for. Thanks in advance!

All L1500 are grey market tractors.

The L1500 and the L175 share a lot of the same parts but not all of the same PTO drive and transmission parts.

Your going to need to start taking it apart to find out what is damaged and what parts you need to fix it. ;)
