Hi, I have a 1997 l2350 DT with a bush hog 2246 QT loader. I would love to upgrade to a little bigger tractor. I found a 2005 L4300 DT with only 600 hours, really clean machine. But it does not have a loader. Guy only used it for mowing. Would anyone know if the bush hog loader off the 2350 would fit the 4300?

Not very well, it's a bit small for that tractor, and the mounting system for the loader is completely different on the L4300.

I knew it was probably a little small, but it would probably have done what I use it for. I mainly just cleared brush with it. I really want a bigger tractor to pull a disc. The little 2350 struggled with it. But the front end loader is very handy when you need it. I guess a lot of different loaders could be made to fit if you wanted to go to the trouble of re-fabricating all of the brackets. That’s more trouble than I would want to do.
Been looking online, it’s hard to find a good used loader. The 4300 that I’m looking at is a pretty nice tractor for its age.

If you can have both do that... HAHAHA
or get the L4300 and then you'll be able to compare mount points.

The L2350 will sell for a heck of a lot more with a loader.

Yeah, exactly! Without the loader, it will knock the price of it way down. Probably be better off just selling it and finding a used loader to fit the 4300. One will eventually show up! I do a lot more non-loader work with it than I do loader work.

Pretty nice tractor. I haven’t seen it in person yet. It’s about a 3 Hour drive. I went ahead and told the guy I would take it. He listed it at 14,000. Then lowered to 12,000. I offered him 10,000 and we settled on 10,500. He bought it new in 05. All it’s ever done is pull a rotary mower and occasional box blade. 700hrs. It’s had a pretty easy life, especially with no loader on it. I’ll keep my eye out and eventually get a loader for it. I like the bush hog loaders. Do you know what model would be good for that tractor?
