L-2052-1 Snowblower Idler Pulley

I am just about done rebuilding this blower from the ground up. With help from people on here!!

Last question...the idler pulley that adjusts the tension of the chain turning the auger...does it go on top, pushing down on the chain OR does it go under the chain pushing up for tension?

I'm not sure what make or model mine is, but the idler is under the lower run of chain pushing up.
