L-1801 Muffler

Needed a new muffler. I called the local Kubota dealer and was informed it would cost $198.....bollocks!
Went to a local muffler shop and picked up a new muffler with 2 feet of pipe and a 90 degree for $80...much better.

I may chop out the bend and add a cap instead.

Needs to be straight up with a cap.
I get a blast of exhaust everytime I get off the machine.

Scratch that.
Switch it around and run the exhaust out the front.

If it's ever parked outside, it needs the cap. Don't need water in the cylinders.

Can't run it it out the front b/c it will radiate too much heat by the alternator.
Can't run it straight down b/c it will radiate too much heatby the starter.
Straight up with a cap.
