Can someone tell me how to remove the "cutting height adjustment dial" on a Kubota ZD331 mower, so I can access the Instrument Panel and what tool is the best to use?? Thank You for any help?
It just pulls straight off, however, they sometimes don't like to come. Try to get 2 long screwdrivers or prybars under each side, just be careful not to hurt anything that you're prying against.
Get yourself a short 2x6 piece of lumber and set it on it's edge right next to the seat on the metal. This is so you do not pry up on the plastic fender cover. Then get two pry bars and using the board as a pry point, put the two bars under the knob and pry up. Do not try to pry on the plastic fender cover as they will break. My knob was hard to get off but when it did it flew upwards about 8 feet so make sure you don't have a light above it.
