I have a 2022 Kubota Z422 60" and I absolutely love this mower. I returned an Exmark Radius S-Series 52" which cost more than this mower. Incase anyone is ever considering the two, IMO everything about this mower is equal to or more likely better than the Exmark! My only complaint is the lack of grease fittings!
My yard has very aggressive slopes and the exmark slid easily on some of the less aggressive areas. The Kubota has no problem with any of my yard!

To the point, I am in search for an Operator Controlled Discharge Chute. I've done some looking around at different aftermarket options and so far I think I like the operation and options available to the Qwikchutes. I can't find any videos about them for the Kubota's.

As anyone tried these? Does anyone have other brands they'd recommend instead?

I looked around for what might be the OEM version, but their website just wants me to contact a local dealer. I found this one at ColemanEquipment

I was hoping to get some more understanding of what's out there before I give my local dealer a call.

I plan to install my self.

I've used a rope with 2 loops in it for decades......
..you'd save $384....and could use it today !

Great point! I've used this same setup on other mowers, but the stock Chute installed doesn't actually stop projectiles from leaving the deck, it only directs them downward, somewhat.

What I want is to be able to completely block it off at times. The OCDC's do exactly this. I have windows directly in line of where I have to pass with the chute side of the mower plus the messes I make in gravel sometimes.

Instead of always going in an awkward formation, I'd much more prefer to have control ove the chute all together.

Also, after $8k on a new mower, what's another $300 to give it one more feature I'd really love to have?

I should mentioned, I've already busted one window last season, not looking to do so again! 😬

Just a heads up if your planning on mowing with it closed all the time, you need to keep after the spindle at the discharge flap side. Those decks do an excellent job of moving all the grass to that side for discharge. Damming all the grass in there works the heck out of that spindle.
