I have a Z1211 ZTR mower and wanted to point out a couple of things to be aware of if you have this model.
First, the lower radiator hose is very close to the oil filter. At 38 hours my hose was chafing on the filter. To stop that from happening, I loosened the lower hose clamp located by the filter, slid the hose back about 1/8 inch then rotated the hose which made the hose move about 3/8 inch from the filter.
Also, the mower deck was 1/2 inch out of side to side level. Yes the mower is under warranty but I wasn’t in the mood to load it up and take it to the dealer. Quicker to fix it myself. With rain every day, I’m mowing about every 3-4 days.
I have a second ZTR that spent a week in the shop for a hydraulic leak. Nobody got time for that this time of year.
