Kubota won't start - help!

Hey all! Used my 2018 Kubota MX5800 yesterday afternoon & turned it off. Went to start it back up & it won't start - just a buzzing/light clicking sound behind the instrument cluster. Hooked up a battery charger to it & put it on 75 Amp start mode & still wouldn't start, but it did make the buzzing/clicking a good bit louder. Tested the battery (original from 2018 when I bought the tractor) w/ a multimeter & it climbed up to 12.8 volts. Possibly still a bad battery? Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?

Clicking is probably the fuel pump which would be normal. My first guess in these situations is always a safety interlock. Time to RTFM.

You can see if the starter is working by applying voltage directly to the solenoid small wire that is usually a spade terminal.

If the engine cranks over the solenoid and starter are good. The wiring from the key switch to the starter will be where the problem lies.

If the starter does not crank the engine then the problem is the starter or the battery or the battery cables.

I recommend that you start by cleaning or replacing the battery cables. There are four different connections to clean.

Before doing it, just make sure the tractor can't actually start, and/or have brakes set and trans in neutral.

Sometimes I have the same problem with my MX5400 HST. I read in one of the posts here that it could me the PTO switch. When I use the PTO mowing, after switching the tractor off, then trying to restart all I get is the clicking. I make sure the tractor is in netural, my ass in properly in the seat, then turn the PTO knob back and forth a few times, then it'll start. I figure it must be a safety switch but not sure which one. Someone suggested it was probably a faulty PTO switch.
