I haven’t driven my 2016 RTV 900X for about 5 months and the other day I went to drive it and it wouldn’t move forward or in reverse. I can see the shifter cable work and move the lever attached to the transmission. The Transmission fluid is full.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Ray

Did you check the hydraulic / hydrostat oil level in the tank under the passenger seat? The transmission oil is only to lube the trans-axle.

Thanks! That was it, I’m not sure where that fluid went though 🤔
It either went into the rear axle housing or the ground providing it was full to start with. Check the YELLOW dipstick on the top of the rear axle.

there is a metal elbow under the hst fluid tank (the tank under the seat) that connects to a rubber hose. They are notorious for being loose, allows oil to leak past over time. Then one day, voila, it won't go

have a look under it and see if there is a bunch of oil around the lines that come out of the hst tank
