Kubota L3800 fan belt

I just bought a Kubota L3800 about 3 weeks ago. I love the tractor, however, i noticed that the engine was getting hot and then the anti-freeze started leaking. After further examination i noticed that somehow the fan belt slipped off track thus causing the fan to not spin. I was just wondering how i could get the belt back on track, and what would make it slip off?

The belt is usually tightened by the alternator. Loosen the adjuster brackett, push it towards the eng, install the belt then pull th alt back to put tension on the belt. Tighten the alternator brackett.
