So yesterday I began putting the top bits of the engine together.
Injectors, rail, valve cover, plumbing, etc.
I ran the engine through a few revolutions to get the oil moving.
I had the top lines to the injectors disconnected so I could see when fuel arrived.
Eventually the good 'ole red blood began to flow - I thought it took too long, but nevertheless it arrived.
I connected the injector lines and cranked again, but although I was hearing pops the engine wasn't really running and the battery was low.
On my second attempt, I made sure that the battery was charged and gave it another go.
The engine cranked and many pops were heard until it caught - Yay I thought, but then it quit much to my surprise and wouldn't start. I was puzzled.
Do you know where this is going?
Yea, a word of advice, when you want your tractor to start - turn on the fuel valve!
Hahahahahaha
