My Kubota L35 has a hydraulic oil leak @ the front axle housing (See Diagram). It only leaks when when the front of the tractor is lower than the rear of the tractor. Looks like the oil pan will have to be removed in order to slide the housing containing the oring and oil seal back enough to replace. Any one had to do this job before?

Not sure about your model exactly but it might make everything easier to remove the front axle. That way you also have better access to replace the seals.

Just a suggestion.

pinion seal probably leaking. Is there any sign of oil leakage at the bottom of the clutch housing? I hope not.

it can be done under the tractor if you have some tools. Removing the axle assembly isn't all that bad if you choose to do it that way. Just 2 hoses & 4 bolts. Don't forget the vent line, and while on that subject CLEAN the vent line as they're commonly plugged, which helps seals leak.
