Hello and thank you. I recently purchased a Kubota l2550 knowing that it had no forward or reverse. Previous owner told me it was a clutch so I replaced the dual clutch and put it back together. It is still not moving forward or backwards .
I can spin the input shaft on the transmission while shifting through all the gears and there's no resistance. Zero. Nothing catches, nothing grinds.
The clutch pedal has very little throw to it which I thought was odd. Maybe 2 1/2 to 3 in of throw but the throwout bearing moves back and forth just fine.
I lifted off the ground and none of the tires have power to them in 4WD or 2WD
There is some shifting linkage that is missing but nothing that I think would prevent it from moving, I will post pictures of this.
I will post pictures of my progress for reference. Any help is much appreciated as I have split this tractor twice and still in clueless I am at my wit's end.

With the top open, you should be able to see the movement of the shafts and what shifting gears does.
If the movement is transferred to the out put shaft it's very unlikely to be in the rear diff as the front drive is supplied before that.

Do you have the WSM (aka service manual)?
As it will show the power path in each gear.
