Seriously contemplating trying to finance a new L2501DT and @ 0% interest for 84 months, it's a pretty sweet temptation.

I'm curious what kind of credit history and score one needs, to attain such a sweet deal. I've never had 0% on anything. I'd imagine they want damn near immaculate, or is Kubota more lenient because they do it all in house?

This is an age old "discussion" .....

first - 0% is just that - 0%...

does big K make money - sure they do!!!!

Do they make any more money from you than white, green,or red tractor manufactures? Not sure.....

As to answer your question - I would imagine something at the 700 or a smidge higher mark would get you there, then again - I am not equifax either:p.

There are those who rather take an additional 500 bucks OFF the deal and pay "cash" over those years....... ME - I took the 0% and took the $500 and stuck it in the bank..........and after 5 years with a smile on my face, I have $550 in the bank and a note that is closing at 0%

I kick myself all those years that I broke my back and busted my @ss without my BX25D - and it still only has 250 hours in almost 5 years!!!! But I am happy as a pig in slop KNOWING that I bought it and it works perfectly!

YOU will never look back and think of it as a mistake! :D

I don’t think my score is perfect and I just got the tractor your thinking about with hst with no trouble getting 0%. But I only had one other loan to my name at the time.

I’d go for it I’ve been pretty happy with mine so far it saved me a bunch of time yesterday clearing lots of brush for my future house site.

Worst thing they can say is no. It’s a good deal but you still must put some down. Also I believe the discount, and I say discount lightly, changes with longer term financing. I can tell you any 10k 0% financing typically requires 730 or better.

If they say no then it’s not the right time and your no worse off since the credit request only cost you 1 point.

Looks like the 84 months requires 20% down on BX. They have other offers that are nothing down, like 60 months and so on. L series is different that BX. It’s all on the site.

Yeah, 20% down is what the site says is a requirement for the 0%/84 deal.

I wish i knew what FICO score they use, to determine qualification. There can be alot of variation across the spectrum.

Again the only way to know is to apply. I just did financing and I’m at 780 middle score. Also at 84 months the machine will be out of warranty before it’s paid for. That’s not the best gamble.

Mine was 20% down for 84 months and easy as pie. Think credit karma said I was 750 or 760 range. I think the 20 percent down would help even challenged credit but don’t know that for sure. Preapproval seemed only preliminary as I still had to fill out a paper application. Mine actually lapsed b4 all my stuff got to the dealer and they just redated the old paper and ran it again for approval. Like somebody else said, if they say no, it’s not the right time anyways. It’s not complicated like buying a house or land can be.

Hotrod1765, I have a 60 month loan, that make sense for that long of a loan to require something down.
