Was over at my dads place tonight, and he mentioned a Kubota Ballast Box that he had and wasnt using. We took a look at it, and I tried to look it up online.

Unless I'm missing something, it looks like Kubota doesnt even offer one anymore (at least not that I can find on their site).

Does anybody know what this is?

All I know is that it's pretty dang heavy and looks really well built, with nice this guage steel.

Looks like a ballast box to me. Fill it with sand and there you go. Store it inside out of the rain or all you will have is rust.

I have two Kubota ballast boxes (different sizes), both bought new from Kubota. One was bought about five years ago, the other about two years ago.

Who knows if they have discontinued ballast boxes since.

It's not quick hitch compatible if it's like mine.
