Leafy England....
Hi everyone and hope you all had a very merry christmas, i sure did.
Not posted for a while so here goes on my latest project.
I purchased this backhoe from ebay a few days ago with the view to fitting it to my B6000.
It is in need of some tlc etc but from my chat with the guy it works very well just a few leaks on the slew rams and 1 new pin needed.
Anyway, it came of a B7100 so in it should be a close enough fit to my b6000 with a few small upgrade mods to my b6000.
I have trawled through my service manuals etc for the backhoes but i cant really be sure which one it is.
Its not a 619 or 629 as the boom gusset is shorter also this has a seat mounted to it which the two above dont have.
I think its a 180 model not sure which exact one though.
any help on identifiying it would be great also any mods that will be needed will be greatly appreciated.

cheers all
rob

Leafy England....
a bit of an update to this guys, i assumed that becuase there had only been a limited response to my question i may have been asking for miracles with regards to identifying this backhoe, and to be honest i had also drawn a blank on it after my initial investigations, until today that is.

left home at 4.30 am this morning to collect it , finally arrived back home at 1.30pm with it loader on my trailer.
Anyway after a good look around things it needs a good clean with my pressure washer as there is about 20 years of mud and crud on everything , not a bad thing as its all stuck to a layer of thick grease etc which is covering everything, so, the paintwork and fittings etc have been protected really well on it,very little rust at all,and what rust there is was mainly on the seat, bucket and the control valve cover.
back to the issue then, i noticed that there was a complete abscense of model numbers /serial numbers on the backhoe, not a number or letter to be found until, bingo, found it.
there are 2 decals on the boom that had been painted over(very poorly at that) the paint just flaked off leaving nice shiny kubota decals and they look like the originals.
The item is a "KB 180" backhoe.

so then, now that information has come to light, we just need to get all the specs /details etc.

If you have any of the above , please let me know as any help would be really apprecaited on this one guys.

thanks again

Leafy England....
hi all,
finally got to the bottom of this problem backhoe ID today.
As allready mentioned its a KB180 model, serial number KT5075, which is by my good fortune, the latter version of the model which had rubber hydraulic hoses allround instead of the metal wire type on the earlier model, a few other improvements aswell.

All the info came to light after contacting Kubota UK today and there was a very nice guy in their service dept who told me all i needed to know and also has a spare manual for one too, needless to say , he's sending it out in the post to me.

anway , the reason its not a known model to all you guys overseas is becuase it was made under liscence in the UK for the UK market only.
Its for the B7100 and similar and is suposed to be an improvement over the KMS and KMK items that were supplied directly by kubota.

anyway , many thanks to those who replied with any info.
