I have to replace my clutch on B7200D.
Is it possible to remove the engine to get to clutch or is it necessary to split the tractor to replace clutch?

thanks,

Split the tractor at the bellhousing to engine, don't bother to remove the engine, it's too many extra steps as the engine doesn't need to come off the frame or front end.

Block the front axle to the frame to keep it from tipping side to side when you split it.

I replaced mine when I first acquired it. It wasn't too bad of a job. An overhead chain hoist really helped me out though!

That is correct. There is a single floor jack under the the frame just behind the bellhousing.

Re-read post #4, it's critical for your safety. I use wedges of wood on each side of the engine, between the engine and the front axle. If the blocks are not there, when the engine and transmission are pulled apart the engine will flop to one side or the other!

I prefer the hoist method in my pic above. No need to block anything off. Plus, it's very easy to bring up or let down the engine. This is super helpful in lining up the dowl pins to get the two halvs back together. If you have a helper you may not heed it, but I flew solo on the clutch replacement.
