Kubota B3000HSDCC grapple and box blade

I am new to the whole tractor segment. I just purchased a Kubota B3000. I would like to put a grapple on the front. Can anybody give me any recommendation on the a TRUE 3rd function valve maker? Also a light weight grapple. I was told to look at the light weight ones due to the LA 403 loader lift capacity.

Second questions: what size box blade runs best on this size tractor. Tires are at 54". I've been told sized 60", 66", and 72". I would like the 72" due to the weight. But I don't want to have to much that the tractor can't keep traction.

Any help of guidance would be appreciated.

What is intended purpose of the implements? Being that you say your new to tractors, your may be right on with your needed purposes or; might not. Others more experienced here may point you in better direction of an implement for your true intentions.

Land Pride should have a true 3trd function system for your tractor and is available from your Kubota dealer. As far as a box blade, normally recommend either the same width as your loader bucket and up to 6" wider. A 72" box is waaaaay big for your tractor. I would be looking at a 60" box blade and as heavy as you can afford. Weight is your friend when it comes to grading.

But as was already asked, what is it that you are wanting to do? This can make a big difference as to what implement is best for the job at hand. ;)

Re: Kubota B3000HSDCC grapple and box blade

Thanks for all the replies. I will be using this to smooth rut, release/fill in standing water holes on trails made by loggers, Cleaning up tree top for trails,my Moving limestone for drive. Mainly used for property up keep.

I think the tractor supply 60" ($549.00) is the heaviest and plus $400 less than the land pride. The land pride grapple SGC0660-71 is the way to go. I think I'm going to switch the bucket out for a quick attach. Ati makes nice adapter. My hang up is the true 3rd function. Every dealer I contact on this is not sure of how they work/install. That throws up concern to me.

So confused that a Kubota dealer wouldn't know about the 3rd function switch as it's a basic and standard attachment.

I have a Land Pride Grapple - best accessory/attachment I have gotten for my tractor. I use it for pulling bushes and roots out of the ground, I can rake around something - sort of digging around it and then pull it out. I use it to pick up brush, downed trees etc. It can be gentle and I also use it to pick stuff up and move it around the property. Like I said a great addition to the tractor.

The dealers are not sure if the the 3rd valve are a true 3rd valve or a devertor. Djm1204 what model grapple do you own and 3rd function valve manufacture? Thanks.
