Looking at the diagram on Messicks website, it appears that it is very similar to the BX2750. It is straight forward, you start at the back side of the blower, and dismantle everything. Make sure to take lots of pictures, so you will know how to put it back. You can use normal hand tools to do the job. Once you have the back end disassembled, remove the 3 end plate bolts on each side, and pull the blower out of the housing. You might have to spin the augers to get the rear fan loose. Make sure to mark the augers Driver Side, Passenger Side, so you don't mix them up. They are different!
You will need a total of 5 bearings, 1 each for the auger, and 3 in the rear. Also it might be wise to replace the chain while you are in there. As long as someone else hasn't already had their hands in there, it should come apart easy. On mine, one bearing was improperly installed, and I needed a puller to get it apart. Depending on where you purchase your bearings, they range from $10 to $35. I can't say if the $35 bearing is any better than the $10 one. I opted for the least expensive, and I always open them up, clean out the grease, and install my own quality grease. Never had a problem with the inexpensive bearings doing it this way. I have noticed that the manufacturers put as little grease into the bearings that they can. I pop the seal out with a sewing needle, by gently prying at the edge until the point is under the seal, and then slide the needle around until the seal comes off. I use a mild Locktite on the Allen head screws to make sure that they don't come loose. If you leave anything loose in the blower, it will most likely self destruct quickly.
