You need to be certain that something simple like the pto has been left engaged or similar.

Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the Workshop Manual for free. WSM
It will turn out to be a safety switch part of the OPC or operator presence control.
This is one page from the large manual. In the manual you will find step by step ways to narrow down the problem

I see this is your first post. Do you have any basic electrical tools to help you troubleshoot?

A multi meter and test light together costing less than $30.

Replacing components like the key switch with the hope it will fix your problem is just a waste of money. You need to be systematic in your trouble shooting which is how the WSM and a few tools will save you money in the long run.

I also have a b2650, no-problems with ignition. My older bx 1860 sometimes needs me to fumble the PTO lever a little before it would start.
Just a thought.
