I am looking opinions for a stump bucket for my B2601. I have a lot of shrubs and small tree stumps to remove over the next few months. I have narrowed down my search to 2 stump buckets.

GWT Mini stump bucket….. this bucket is 18” deep and designed for smaller tractors. Will I regret it being too small? 1200.00 plus dollars after shipping.

Titan economy(light weight) stump bucket….. I like the fact that is it long at 36” or so. I can get deeper with my digs. I am concerned it would be too much for my tractor. I have seen mixed reviews on using this bucket on a 25hp tractor. See some guys on you tube using this size on smaller tractors with some success it seems. 750.00ish dollars shipped.

Opinions…. Thanks

N.Y,
Tomahawk makes a nice light one I was thinking of trying at one point. Decided if I can't tear it out with the grapple, just cut it flush with the ground. Stump buckets seem to do best on bigger tractors from videos I watched.

I don't know how well a stump bucket will work on your size tractor.
I bought one from Mid-State Equipment with a grapple. The grapple option works great. I've owned round bottom and flat bottom stump buckets. The round bottom models seam to penetrate the ground easier.

I have the GWT mini stump bucket. I bought it so I wouldn't put too much pressure on the loader and tweak it.

I bought a 21" stump bucket from https://www.farmerequipmentsales.co...t_in_universal_skid_steer_quick_attach.html#/ for my LX3310.

I moved around 45-50 spruce trees averaging 8' tall. There was a bit of a learning curve to use it because it is hard to see the end of it from the cab. Once I had the tree out I used a rachet strap to hold it in place for transport to the new location at the back of my property.

A longer version would be easier to see but I'm not sure how well the tractor would handle the bucket.
