Hi guys, just got the B2410 small tractor, it is in transit. I hope it all works out, after having the Bultra b1-17 and being mostly satisfied with it getting this little tractor with a cabin and front, middle and back pto and hydraulics should be more thank happy...

My question is, reading the specs of some tools I want to get (linked bellow), contacted some companies that produce different tools in Europe... i found out that the flow of oil of the hydraulics of most of the tools meant for small and midium tractors is much higher than this Kubota can offer...

Is there a way to upgrade the hydraulics pump on this Kubota b2410, I read up on addon pumps on pto...

Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Go to kubotabooks.com and download the workshop manual (WSM) for B2410, B2710 & B2910.

Your tractor has the smallest hydraulic system of the three tractors covered in the WSM at 16.6m liters per minute or 4.4 gpm.

You have 18 HP at the engine under the most ideal of circumstances, perhaps 15 HP at the pto.

The implements you have posted are for far larger tractors than a B2410.

Yes larger pumps, either engine driven or pto driven, can be added but you don't have the horsepower to drive the size of pump you would need and then would have nothing left to move the tractor.

The B2410 will be a great tractor but recognize its limits

The weed badger for example is being driven by a 38 hp Kubota

Here is a link to a product sold by Landpride, now owned by Kubota ,for a pto driven hydraulic system

https://www.landpride.com/products/90/hrs30-series-hydraulic-reservoir-systems

Note minimum pto horsepower of 52 for 25 GPM

You can find or make smaller systems but the HP of your pto is going to limit what you can do.

You could always consider making a hydraulic unit driven by a gasoline engine to power the implements you need.

Hi Dave, thanks a million Dave, I appreciate your help. I will look in to the options and see what I could possibly do to get something to work for my narrow rows.

I only found the Kubota service manual on the kubotabooks page, not the user manual, do you know another source please?

My BiSpeed lever seams to be stuck or is there some kind of a trick to it to get it going?

Thank you.

My next suggestion is to Google Kubota B2410 specs.

You should end up on tractordata.com.

You will see the spec's for your particular model but more important the models which preceded or followed the B2410

Then go back to Kubotabooks.com and see if you can find an operators manual for a similar model to your B2410

I don't know your particular model re the bispeed. If this is a travel speed hi low range and not something for the pto start by making certain the front and back tires are the size listed in the WSM.

With a 4 WD system there is a very tight designed in ratio between the front and back axle wheel rolling circumferences since the tires are of different size.

Owners are known to change tire sizes as long as the tire fits the rim. This causes the drive train to be fighting itself and keep great pressure on the gears.

To determine if you have a mechanical problem, say perhaps rusted linkage, first try backing up and turning to see if the lever will move. Next jack up one side of the tractor, both front and rear, run the engine slowly and try and move the lever.
