Guys, I'm new to this site, so any help would be greatly appreciated by this old man. I have an old Kubota B2100, 4x4, loader, nice little tractor, except for recently it has decided not to run for more than 5 seconds after starting it. It cranks up fine, but then shuts back down after running for 5-7 seconds maximum. You can crank it 20 times in a row, but it will do the same exact thing. I have very little knowledge of tractors besides the basics, I've changed the fuel filter and air filter, thinking it was starving for fuel or air,,,. But neither helped the issue. What is going on? Can there be anything else I'm overlooking?

Very likely its the stop solenoid that is causing the issue.

Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the three WSM for the B2100 it will walk you through how to check it.

Perhaps a need to prime the fuel line?
