Kubota age date (EU)

Hello. We are in the Process of trying to purchase a Kubota B2420.
we are trying to find out the year of manufacture but are struggling somewhat. The ID number is B2420D6119, engine number is 1GQ7092. Any help appreciated.

Based on the engine S/N, the engine was built in Aug of 2016. So I would say the tractor was built sometime in late 2016.

Thank you, the seller has advised us it's 2020 with just 50 hours on the clock

So - those were made from 2009 - 2017 - HOWEVER, the year of manufacture is not like a car - truck or .....

It is when IT left the dealer's lot and was sold.

Why do you need a specific date? Is this for a loan or something?

so suppose that tractor was physically made in 2009, delivered to dealer, shedded and recently found..
it can legally be sold as a 2023 model ???

Seller claims model year is 2020.
Get seller to indicate a 2020 manufacture date on his bill of sale to you.
Since the British insurance company will also be unable to source information to challenge that date, it will probably work for you.

The EU versions of the these tractors do not match the US dates of release.
It's very possible that it could be a 2020.
Talk to a local (EU) Kubota dealer to see if they can help you with a sale date and that will be the tractor year.
Also in the EU, there should have been a title or registration that was made when it was sold new.

My b8200 was made in April of 1989, it was first sold in 1995 and that was the date on the bill of sale, a 1995'b8200. Kubota stopped making them in 1990.

It doesn't always match.
For some reason they vary and I'm pretty sure it has to do with there required emissions standards.
