hello , I have a 2007 kubota 3240 with 1100 hours. I Recently developed a leak that drips from the wheep hole screw in plug located bottom of clutch housing I believe. I called my kubota dealer, I understand warranty has expired, and he said it sounds like a input shaft seal or could be other seals as well, but would not know til a split of the tractor is done, ball park estimate would be a 1400.00 for split plus parts needing replaement. OUCH!

I think I may do this myself, but looking for others who have had this problem, makes it easier to understand what to look for and the process to repair. thanks for any help Jim

L10, L30 and L40 series tractors have had problems with the 4wd shaft seals leaking. You will need to split the tractor, remove the seals and the shaft. There will be rubber lined bushings on the shaft that will need replaced and the seals will need replaced. It can be a little challenging, just be sure to get the parts back in the right order with the right spacing
