Hi Guys

New to this forum, and appreciate and help i can get.

I got a Kubota Tractor with slasher attachment, had these for years, and recently im starting to get a bit of issues with the 3 point hitch attaching to the slasher.

When im trying to lower the slasher to cut grass, the hitch drops so suddenly
that it bangs on the slasher rather than slow and gradual downward elevation.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

thanks in advance

My mx-5100 has a knob I turn to slow the rate at which the 3pt lowers. I can turn it to the point it barely moves, or where it slams into the ground.

To get better information, it helps to know what tractor your working with. ;)

Almost all tractors have a lever or a knob, generally near the base of the seat, that adjusts how fast or slow the rear arms drop. You change the setting depending on how heavy the implement may be and how fast or slow you want it to drop.
