Keep backhoe boom centered while traveling

Just a safety reminder. I rotated my BX25 backhoe boom to one side to get into a tight spot while using the loader. I then needed to go into my back yard. The path getting there has a slight side slope, normally is not an issue. This time, I forgot to pivot the backhoe back to the center and could definitely feel the diifference on the slope as the boom was on the down hill side. Could feel right away that the tractor was acting differently and quickly reached back and swung the boom back to center. Sure makes one think about what could have happened. Be careful out there.

I have this problem when I trailer the 25D - I have to swing the boom/stick hard right and then when I get back home the little sumbeach is up against the trailer tailgate!

I have felt the weight too when moving after hoe work - that big ol 1+" Pin is a great thing to never forget to use!

I've actually used that to my advantage, think of it as movable ballast. Just keep it on the uphill side.

My BH weighs 2200 lbs. You bet I am always aware of where that Boom is! I also use it for all kinds of ballast.
