Does anyone know if a Kabota 7400 can operate a 5’ brush hog? In the book it says it only has 13 hp pto but previous owner said it had 19hp…

I really don't know how much of anything about a KABOTA 7400, sounds like a cheap Chinese knock off.
I can tell you a KUBOTA B7400 has 16 engine HP and 12.5 PTO HP not enough HP to run a 5' brush hog!
The guy selling to you and stuff you hear on the internet are always correct. Buy a 7' bush hog.

My Kubota B7200 has powered my old Mohawk 5' brush hog many times over the yesrs. It is only used for cutting 12 to '24" weeds and chopping light brush and small limbs in the woods. It would be a total fizzle mowing even modestly high pasture grass. The 3pt will lift it but its too heavy for the tractor and you have to careful it does not decide were the tractor is going to go.
