K576134152 Boss Spline Stuck

Greetings, I am currently trying to disassemble a RCK54-22BX mover deck to do some much needed maintenance. My objective is to remove the gearbox. I have removed the blade assembly from the middle spindle and the snap clip. But the K576134152 part, called the BOSS SPLINE on the parts diagram, seems stuck like it was welded on (I know it wasn't). Nevertheless, does anyone have any suggestion on how to remove the K576134152 BOSS SPLINE? TO say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Help?

Normally just tapping on it, top down, frees them.

Sometimes they get really stuck. I have used grease before to hydraulically push them.

All else fails, heat it-then while warm, spray it down with PB blaster or similar.
