It's 1999 L3600 GST. LA680 loader, R4 tires, 1208 hours with a back blade. Snagged one heck off a deal. The JD dealer it was at thought it was stuck in 4wd but it wasn't.
She's a sweet rig! Look forward to learning all I can here and talking with y'all.

-Matt.

Matt,
I sent you an email for a download link to the WSM for your tractor, lots of information and really nice to have around for future maintenance and repairs.

Matt,

I got news for you... very soon your son is going to be running that machine, probably more than you! Congrats!! GREAT find.

Its really handy to have another operator. My wife runs mine for me when picking up stuff or moving heavy things.

Do a full service on it and then ENJOY!!!

Forgot to mention: Get a Battery Tender and keep it on for faster morning starts. 15 sec of "pre-heat" on the ignitors will get you a fast and relatively smoke free start.

second a battery tender. I have a 4 bank, a 2 bank, and a single. one for old diesel dually, one for boat, one for generator, one for razr, one for scag zero turn, and already have available for tractor. the other I use as necessary as we have 6 vehicles between me, my wife and my mother and father. so from time to time one sits, battery tender will make sure they last much much longer especially in cold weather.

Battery Tender: Unplug before starting or your charging circuit in the tractor may fry your battery charger.

To back up what Skeets said, it costs $18 to mail a small Battery Tender back for their 6-year warranty exchange. New 6v-12v 3ah ones at Costco are on sale for $29.

:)

I second the block heater. Especially in Michigan. I think having a nice warm engine makes for easy turnovers.

A couple of these are really nice, too.

Those are NICE! Thank you for the link. I might buy a set for my winter beater / plow truck for back up lights!
