Hello to all, my name is Jay and I'm a first time tractor owner, and first time poster. I bought a fully restored Kubota L260 from a close friend. I just want to make sure the three point lift is functioning properly. Here is my question: when the control lever for the lift is all the way down, so are the lift arms. The lift arms won't move until the control lever is about halfway through its travel, then they follow the movement of the control lever all the way through its travel. Is this ok? How do I know the full stroke of the lift arms? Is there a full lower measurement and full raised measurement (taken from end of lift arm to the shop floor)? I have a digital copy of the operators manual, but it doesn't answer my questions. The hydraulic reservoir is full. I mainly use a four foot rotary cutter for my property clearing and maintenance and it works fine. I have a scrape blade, three point scoop, box blade and boom pole. Any advice will be appreciated.

So it's lifting and lowering OK?
I don't have the manual but there is usually a float position at the bottom of the lever which takes up some travel, also adjustment on the linkages which will vary the position, also possibly some screw stops depending on model.
