I am in search of a loader for my Kubota L2900. After digging thru the internet it seems it needs a LA480 FEL. I am finding numerous threads on different sources saying this is a hard item to come by. I have post out on Facebook and have joined this forum in hopes of locating one. I have called the Kubota dealership but they informed me they don't manufacture anything for tractors as old as mine. If anyone has one for sale or knows of a fit for a aftermarket loader that would be compatible i would consider this as well.

Look at Woods loaders, they should have one that will fit it.
So after calling my local woods dealer he told me he didn't believe that woods was making fel any longer. I wasn't able to find anything on there website regarding woods fel either. He told me to look at westendorf loaders, i have filled out a "fit form" since my model tractor didn't show up as something they had a loader for yet. Waiting on a response back now.

So after doing some calling around i was referred to a company called westendorf. After chatting with them and explaining to them my situation it seems i need either the TA160 or TA-170. Difference being the 160 can lift about 300 more lbs. They are supposed to be sending me two quotes for both model loaders including everything i should need for this to be a turn key project other than me mounting the loader to my tractor, which i will do. Will update yal with the numbers when i get them. Just wanted to share with anyone who might need the info.

Yes @Kennyd4110 is probably right, on these tractors it's almost cheaper to sell your tractor and buy one with a loader already attached.

Sad that Woods quit making loaders, they made some well built loaders.

Their price may be more than the value of the tractor. Guessing 5-6k for everything.

You are correct. My quote i received back from westendorf for the two different style loaders they offer was $10,860 and $9,558. This was with shipping included. At that point it would make more sense to sell the tractor and buy one with a front end loader.

I knew Westendorf was not cheap, but WOW.

Koyker is another option to consider:
